Well, it's about time to post mystery photo number TWO (2), don't you think?

looks like thorns from a kapok tree. At least thats what we called them.

boy, I was going to say something odd growing on the outside of a palm tree, but thorns on a kapok tree sounds better... (yes, I cheated by reading others' answers!)

It is the underbelly of a Maximilliosacranosaurus ("big holy lizard") found only in the creek and tidal pool of ELWA Paynesville, Liberia.
